What IS "Endermologie"?
It's a natural, healthy cellulite reduction treatment you can feel good about!

"Endermologie" is an FDA Approved technique that massages the skin using a device with a combination of rolling and aspiration. This treatment assists your body in its own natural flushing of toxins and deposits by stimulating lymphatic and blood flows, Improving circulation and cleansing the skin's connective tissues of waste.

Endermologie should not be considered as a weight loss treatment. Studies have shown that you can decrease the circumference of various areas of the body, but you will not lose pounds. Endermologie CAN however give you smoother, tighter, younger looking skin.

What is cellulite?
Cellulite can be described as a build up of fluids and toxins within the skin tissue, causing the affected skin to bulge out and give that "orange peel" and "dimpled" appearance. The causes are a combination of poor diet, exercise, hormones, genetics and weight gain. But don't feel bad, almost all women have cellulite, even supermodels (why do you think airbrushing was invented??) The lymphatic system can get bogged down with trying to flush out toxins from the body, and "Endermologie" can help get the lymphatic system back up and running to flush out the toxins causing the ugly cellulite appearance.

Does is hurt?
NO, the treatment is customized for each individual and adjusts to your sensitivity. Most people find it very relaxing, like getting a massage!

Is it just for women?
No, Endermologie works well for men, helping reduce love handles and firm up skin in areas like the stomach and the pecs. And a famous male cyclist uses a version of Endermologie after grueling races, to help reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) due to overexertion. The same is true for any high intensity workout.

Will I lose weight?
No, it is not going to help you lose weight, although a recent study showed that there was a decrease in the circumference of legs after a series of treatments. Endermologie will certainly motivate you to eat well and exercise

I am pregnant, can I get treatments?
Congratulations! You need to wait until after the delivery, but Endermologie will help you regain your shape!

Are there any side effects?
Depending on the sensitivity of your skin, you may notice slight bruising at first. Considering that the treatments are all customized, please inform your technician during the treatment if it feels too strong. Certain medications can be a contraindication, and this will be discussed during your consultation.

How does the treatment work?
Each approximately 35 minute treatment is a relaxing massage, using the mechanical device to roll over each section of the entire body, focusing on the "problem" areas. In a few sessions you will start to notice a difference in the overall appearance of your skin.

Now, keep in mind, this is NOT a free ticket to quit your proper diet and exercise regimen. Although you do not need to jump into a whole new routine, it will be important for you to do what you can to enhance the results, including avoiding a lot of fat, salt, alcohol and caffeine. Staying hydrated is also very important, and you will be given some hints on how to keep hydrated.

Who is a good candidate?
A good candidate for Endormologie is any relatively healthy individual who is within a reasonable range of their ideal body weight, who has an interest in not only cosmetic enhancements, but in a healthy lifestyle. During your consultation, you will be asked a series of questions regarding recent health and medications, lifestyle.

What other types of benefits might I see?
Pre and Post liposuction surgery: Liposuction does not eliminate cellulite. Many cosmetic surgeons will recommend Endermologie for their patients with cellulite concerns. Often, Endermologie is used in conjunction with liposuction, not only to reduce the cellulite than lipo will not, but also to prepare the skin before surgery and repair the skin after surgery.

Water retention: Endermologie stimulates the lymphatic system, assisting your body in flushing out excess fluid and toxins, relieving your body of the swelling and discomfort associated with water retention.

Menopausal women: Stimulating the skin and surrounding tissues, Endermologie boosts the production of elastin and collagen, which thickens and strengthens the epidermis. Potential side effects of menopause, such as weariness, fatigue and depression can be given temporary relief through Endermologies tension relieving and relaxing massage.
